Belayne D. Guerrero, graduated Suma Cum Laude from St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida and Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg, Florida. She is a certified county mediator with the Florida Supreme Court. Before joining Essen, Essen, Susaneck & Cohen P.A., Ms. Guerrero served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Broward County Public Defender's Office. As an Assistant Public Defender, Ms. Guerrero handled all aspects of DUI cases and appeared in court regularly for arraignments, calendar calls, status conferences, motions, violation of probation hearings and trials. Ms. Guerrero is fluent in Spanish.
